Jonathan’s music has taken him around the world conducting and performing throughout Europe, South Korea, Canada, and Mexico. Jonathan holds the Master of Music and Bachelor of Music and has completed coursework toward a doctorate in music. He has served on the faculty of Texas Tech University, Angelina College, The University of Southern Mississippi, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Texas State University. Some of his noted pedagogues include conductors, Gregory A. Fuller, John Flanery, Joey Martin, Lynn Brinckmeyer, and David Guess, pianist, Robert Steinbauer, vocalist Guy Wilson, and theorists, Peter Martens, David Forrest, Matthew Santa, Lon Chaffin, Russell Riepe, and Joe Brumbeloe. Jonathan is currently Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Slaton, TX and takes every available opportunity to perform and teach. His heart is to glorify the king above all.
