Seeking wisdom and prayers

At our church we recently lost member of our worship band to a job move. We have auditioned 4 candidates to fill the open volunteer position in the band. The band's first choice is a Christian young man who has been playing with our youth band for a couple of years, now (incidentally his father plays in the worship band). The band's third choice (our pastor's first choice) is an older gentleman, who is unchurched, and has rejected a open opportunity to invite Christ to be his Lord and Savior. Our pastor sees the inclusion of this man in the worship band to be an evangelistic opportunity.
I ask for prayer, 1) most importantly, for this unchurched man to realize his need for Christ, 2) that wisdom would prevail, and God would be glorified in the person that is ultimately chosen for the open slot in the band, and 3) that whatever the outcome, hurt feelings would be minimal.

Any wisdom or input from any of you would be greatly welcomed.
